Tvzetan Todorov came up with the theory that all of the fictional environment should begin with a state of equilibrium. An equilibrium is where every opposing thing is calm and of no disruption. This equilibrium is then disrupted or suffers some sort of disequilibrium. This cycle continues to where someone recognises the disruption and attempts to repair. If the disruption is repaired, we would then reach a new equilibrium. Vladimir Propp came up with the theory that all narrative feature's a set of "stock characters". These are comprised of: A Hero A False Hero A Villain A False Villain A Donor A Helper A Princess/ Prize A Father/ Role Model A Dispatcher and, A Victim Claude Levi-Strauss created the theory of binary opposites.
